I created this guide to help teachers type mathematics in a way that both saves time and looks professional. I had taught myself how to quickly type complex notations, such as limits and definite integrals, without lifting my hands off the keyboard to reach for the mouse, and I knew this was something that I needed to show other teachers too! Anything that helps us do our important work more efficiently is worth our time.
The presentation used a combination of PowerPoint slides, the attached PDF handout, and a live demonstration of use of these shortcuts in both Word and PowerPoint, with Q&A interspersed throughout.
